"Treasure" Bottles
Fill clear plastic bottle with any of these: pieces of kitchen sponge, marbles or clean little rocks, glitter, etc... Fill the bottle with clean water and glue the lid on tightly.

Rice Rattles
Put a handful of rice inside a small plastic bottle. Close it tightly with the lid.

Rattles for hands and feet
Stitch a small rattle onto a bootie or mitten.

Baby Ball
Sew together pieces of fabric, you can put small bell inside. You can use other small pieces of fabric as the filling.

Baby Book 1
Use a sheet of cardboard and cut it to a size that is easy to handle. Fold into three or four equal sections and decorate each section with either bright painted colors or use cut out pictures from a magazine or print some family photos and glue on.

Baby Book 2
Other way to make a baby book is to use zip-lock bags. Glue pictures on a thick paper (smaller size than the ziplock bag). Put it inside the bag. Create about 3. Close the bags. Use colorful string and sew the bags together on the opposite side of closing.

Stocking Scrunchie
Insert crinkly wrapping paper into stocking or pantyhose. Tie at each end.

Sock Balls
Roll a clean pair of socks into itself.

Play Mats
Use baby blanket and sew on fabric of different colors and shapes, ribbons, rattles etc...

Stacking Toys
Save up boxes, lids and other objects that can be stacked. You can decorate it with colorful papers or fabric that you glue on.

Note: When making baby toys, you need to consider choking, strangling, poisioning or other dangers. Supervise your child and use materials that are safe to play with.
