Plaster Picture
What you need:
Plaster of Paris and water (buy it at Walmart, Michaels, etc...)
Shallow box
Piece of paper
Objects to use in picture (shells, beads, rocks, etc...)
Strong String
Paint and brushes
Imagination :)
- - First, take the piece of paper and all your chosen objects and "plan" your picture - - Spread everything you plan to use on the piece of paper.
- - Place the string in the box - - it must be partly inside and partly coming out of the box so later you can hang your picture.
- - Prepare Plaster of Paris (follow instructions on the box) and pour it in the box over the string. Place all your picked objects on the plaster. You have to do it very fast since it will harden quickly.
- - Let dry, rip the sides of the box, take the "picture" carefully out. You can either paint your picture with acrylic paint or just leave it the way it is.
- - Hang it or place it on a shelf and enjoy!
